Ô Chateau

This logotype had to instantly explain what the company did and had to appeal to a particular demographic. Strong, but simple typography, with an elegant glass within the O create a strong brand marque. The wine in the glass has movement, a nod to the art of swirling prior to smelling and tasting a wine, and echoing the colour in the O of the type gives a nice balance against the heavy, bold statement the black colour makes. The logotype has vertical and horizontal versions, and can be reversed out of black.

Vulcan Recruiting

The client was looking for a modern, fresh logotype for their start-up recruitment company and came to Chomp for a solution. Vulcan is the god of beneficial and hindering fire, including the fire of volcanoes in ancient Roman religion and Roman Neopaganism. Vulcan is usually depicted with a thunderbolt, thus the logotype was born. A simple execution with the hidden bolt nestled between the angles of the letter A and N. Clean and memorable.

RedHotPoker.com

A simple, elegant typographic solution was designed to re-brand RedHotPoker.com, using the four poker card symbols in the negative space of the type. A supporting advertising strapline was developed to launch the re-brand.

The Great Exhibition 2012

A brand marque is the visual embodiment of all the values and identity that had been established through workshops and research. A brand marque is the first opportunity any brand has to gain a foothold in people's imagination. Many different routes were proposed for the brand marque for The Great Exhibition 2012 - the Brand Doc and its creative filters helped to generate those different options, helped the client to view them objectively and ultimately helped in the final selection of a winning design.

Harradine Electricals

Using the neagtive space in the stylised plug gave a great opportunity to create a strong, but simple, typographic solution for this logotype, the "E" came naturally, and the "H" became a socket for the plug to fit into. A cord was added to give a more dynamic dimension to the final logotype.
